Pizza Night!

Pizza Ranch
4480 23rd Ave South, Suite A
Fargo, ND 58104

Tuesday 3/29/11

After doing a blog on a chain restaurant (when I did one on Denny’s) I debated if I really wanted to spend the time writing about them because chances are most people have eaten at these places once in their life. But in reality Fargo is full of chains and they tend to be cheaper and chances are we will be eating at chains more than independently owned restaurants. Every experience is different, so I will continue writing about chains and continue writing them as if you never even heard about the restaurant.
As we walk in I notice a sign that Tuesday’s Kids Eat Free, Gio is too little to pay any way but it is good to know for the future. As soon as you walk in there is a counter where you place your order. They hand you cups and you seat yourself.  We told the lady we just wanted to do the buffet so we paid and she handed us our cups. We tried finding a table that was cleaned, but all of the empty tables were not wiped down. Luckily, I carry Lysol disinfectant wipes with me, so I cleaned off a table for us.
After we got situated we got our drinks. If you ask the person at the counter they will give you milk, which we got for Gio. I then got my salad from the salad bar. They have a nice salad bar with lots of toppings with a specialty salad, this time it was cranberry walnut.  Afterwards, I got Gio a plate with a bread stick with cheese, cheese pizza, and a slice of macaroni pizza.  We have noticed that he really likes macaroni and cheese, so hoped he would like this, I also got him peas, peaches and mandarin oranges from the salad bar. Gio loved everything; he ate so much I did not know his stomach could hold so much.  When we do buffet’s, Jarred and I take turns going so one can watch Gio, so once I got back Jarred got his salad.
I went back to get my pizza but they didn’t have any pizza that I liked so I got a Buffalo chicken leg from their chicken section.  It was very good.  By the time Jarred got up to get his pizza they had a lot more to choose from and he brought me a slice of taco pizza and a bread stick. A nice option that they offer, is the ability to request a pizza for the buffet, they will then bring you the first slice before it gets put on the buffet.  We never do this, I think we don’t want to wait that long. They do have good pizza
After I finished my pizza I got their dessert pizza, a slice of apple and peach to share with jarred. And jarred got ice cream to share with Gio. It is nice they have the dessert included with their buffet.
Pizza ranch is a good place to go where you can get your money’s worth. They could do a better job wiping down tables and keeping the floor clean. They have good pizza and lots of choices; I know we will be visiting pizza ranch again!

  1. It's really cool that you can carry lysol wipes in you. J/K...We LOVE Pizza Ranch! Last time we were there however we both got really bloated. Super value and awesome selection, but we always eat way to much when we go there!
